Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13 January, 1981) is an American actor. His career began with television roles, including Opposite Sext in the year 2000. Following his appearance in a variety of teen movies, including Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he was renowned as the Marvel Comics Character the Human Torch. Evans appeared in further films based on comics as well as graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). He gained wider recognition for his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He became one of the most highly paid actors on the planet due to his role in the Marvel series.
